# Android installation troubleshooting

AppBarn downloads APK files; Android decides whether installation is allowed. An AAB is not directly installable.

## Find the problem

| What you see | What to check | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Share unavailable | Link invalid, revoked, expired or Build no longer ready | Ask for a new Share Link |
| Download fails | Browser/network, access link or expired short-lived URL | Reopen the Build page and request a new download |
| Device blocks installation | Browser/file-manager install permission, managed-device policy or Play Protect warning | Review the warning and confirm the build is trusted; follow device policy |
| App not installed | APK signature, installed app with a different signer, OS/device requirements or damaged download | Ask the developer to check signing and compatibility; download again |
| Only Download for AAB | An Android App Bundle needs processing | Use a suitable development or distribution tool to create installable APKs |

AppBarn does not override Android security controls or replace developer signing. Do not bypass organisation restrictions.
